Lake Nokomis Offers Full Recreation Activities
It is 2,200+ acres and perfect for swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, or enjoying the view on your pontoon boat while taking an early morning or a sunset cruise!
The largest lake in the Tomahawk area, covering 2,433 acres, Lake Nokomis is a recreational playground. Formed by a dam built on the Tomahawk River in 1912, the lake is 34 feet deep and has 35 miles of shoreline. Small islands and floating bogs make for interesting paddling. Boaters have miles of open water to cruise and there’s plenty of room for water skiing. There are several dining options on the lake, with places to tie up a boat.
Anglers will find plentiful bluegill, largemouth and smallmouth bass, musky, northern pike and walleye fishing. The lake is also a great place to spot bald eagles. Lake Nokomis is part of a chain of lakes that includes Bridge and Deer Lakes, which together cover more than 4,000 acres.
Explore Miles of Recreational Trails
Connect to the Lincoln County trail system from the property! Northern Wisconsin is home to outstanding ATV/UTV trails. Explore hundreds of miles of Northwoods routes in Forest, Langlade, Lincoln and Oneida counties.
